Ifor Williams Horsebox Trailer Hire - What's Available?

We Hire Ifor Williams HBX511 double horse trailer. The horse trailer comes with centre partitions and breast bars, large panoramic front windows and travel light. The Larger front windows allows more light into the trailer. If you are needing a horse trailer to hire please book well in advance as they get rather booked up at weekends.

Hire Rates:

Please note, the inside of your trailer must be cleaned out before return, or there will be a £25 cleaning charge

NEW SERVICE:

We now hire breast bars

We will gladly strip out the partition and fit full width breast bars for the following charges:

Hire of the 2 breast bars:  £10 per day per pair

Strip out partition and fit breast bars: one off  £20 charge

Pending the Trailer is available, collections can also be made: Friday between 3.00pm - 5.00pm, Contact the office to arrange

Return Times:

Anytime during opening hours.

Monday between 8.00am - 10.00am

Sunday’s and Bank Holidays Closed

The trailer MUST be returned before 10.00am on the Monday

Trailer hire prices include VAT & UK insurance at 15%. 

NB.
We will require payment in full
at the time of booking, either by debit or credit card which is non-refundable, so please ensure your dates are correct. This is due to the fact that many people book and never show, this is unfair to people we have had to turn away
due to no availability.

Please check you have the correct driving licence to tow these trailers, full licences held before 1997 were automatically entitled to B+E on your licence which allowed you to tow a trailer up to 3500kg gross weight, however licences held after 1997 do not automatically get B+E entitlement and need to take a separate trailer test to tow up get this. This does not mean that you cannot tow but restricts you to certain rules, to find out what you can tow please read the Towing and The Law page.

Number Plates

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure there is a legal number plate on the trailer you are hiring, we can provide the means to fix it onto the trailer if need be. If you require a number plate this can be provided at a cost of £10 plus vat, however, we must see your UK driving licence and the V5 registration document for your vehicle. Anyone taking their hire trailer without a legal number plate do so at their own risk. (Please note hand written number plates are not classed as a legal number plate)

European Travel

Any trailers hired for European Travel must be booked via the office, you will also need to arrange European Recovery for the trailer and provide us with the documents proving the trailer is fully covered.
